What we collect

• Nothing to run an estimate. Pins, searches and map movement are processed to answer your request; we don't require an account for the public tools.
• Search suggestions are fetched from the Photon geocoding service (komoot) — your typed query and coarse map position are sent there to return suggestions. Final geocoding may use OpenStreetMap Nominatim.
• Quote & permit workflow data (names, emails, phone numbers, jobsite locations) is stored when a driller or customer intentionally enters it to create a quote or application packet.
• Theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage.

What we don't do

We don't sell personal information. We don't run third-party ad trackers. AI features never run in the background — WellsMap AI is called only when you explicitly allow spend and click a button, and only the jobsite statistics needed for the briefing are sent.

Public records

The well records we index are public documents published by state agencies and may include historical owner names as filed. See data & methodology for correction paths.

Retention & deletion

Workflow records persist so applications can be tracked to completion. Email team@fieldelevate.com to request deletion of workflow data you entered.
